I just want to say that the hardest part of writing this article was cutting down the number of outfits I was going to include. There are a lot of hardcore Sex and the Cityfans out there, and rightfully so, but don't come at me in the comments, bro. I know I missed a f*ck ton of iconic lewks, because this is Carrie Bradshaw we're talking about. The limit does not exist for how many times she slayed her designer clothes (and Manolos) that realistically, one could never afford on a freelance writer wage while living in Manhattan. (Let's just say I speak from experience.) Although the show premiered over 20 years ago (are you feeling ancient yet?), viewers have learned some important lessons on love, sex, friendship, and of course, fashion that are still relevant in 2019. Sure, many of Carrie Bradshaw's outfits and fashion choices back in the day are cringeworthy, but now, a lot of them are trending more than ever. In her honor, I picked out some of my favorite outfits and found the best lookalikes, so you can finally free your inner Carrie.
1. The White Tutu
I can'tstart this off without including the iconic tutu you see as soon as you start a new episode. Would one ever wear a tutu while running errands on a day that's not Halloween? Maybe not, if you think it might be a fun look to try as it gets warmer outside, you're in luck. Turns out, you can buy the real ~ridiculously affordable~ tutu straight from Sarah Jessica Parker's costume designer herself. Slip on a basic pale pink bodysuit underneath and you're good to go. Or if you don't care about being authentic, you can probably buy one at Hot Topic for like, $20.

2. The Fur Coat & Python Boots
In the third season, Carrie finds Bill Kelley, a city politician, waiting for her on her stoop. Yes, this is the guy who famously dumped her after she wouldn't agree to pee on him. I'm just going to leave that there and proceed to the clothes. Dressed in one of her more fabulous casual outfits, Carrie stunned in a fur coat, classic plaid skirt, white ruffle cami, and those iconic snakeskin boots. You might not wear all the pieces of this outfit together, but you can modernize it with a trendy checkered mini skirt, white long sleeve blouse, similar heeled boots, and of course, your own faux fur long coat.

3. The Little Black (or Gray?) Dress
Gray, charcoal, black, same color family, different shade. In season two, she donned this for two lunch dates. The first was with a boyfriend's family, and later after the abrupt breakup, she wore the dress to meet up with the rest of the crew to talk sh*t about it. Although it's v basic, the little black dress is also still a go-to classic for everyone. Copy the look with your own bodycon and new aviators.

4. The Floral Dress You Might Fall Into A Lake In
Carrie wore this to meet Big at The Loeb Boathouse where they both accidentally fell into the filthy lake. Talk about a kiss gone wrong…and a ruined Dior purse. For spring, you can buy this similar chic floral ruffle dress, and I guess you can just pray you don't fall into a body of water yourself.

5. The "Naked Dress"
I'm throwing it back all the way to the first season when Carrie plans her first date with Big. I had trouble picking one from the many, many sexy slip dresses she wears throughout the entire show, but starting with the most famous one felt right. Both nude-looking apparel and slip dresses have been making a huge comeback recently—think Yeezy vibes. Carrie truly wore it first, and now you can too with this stunner just when it's starting to trend again. In the wise words of Miranda, "You're not gonna have sex. you're just gonna look like sex."
